okay, so huling post ko ay birthday ni mama, december 16. blecch. anyways. what a life. there are a LOT of things i'm gonna write, i mean, type. i hate not being updated for so long.

okay, whatever. i'm gonna forget enumerating those things i wanna tell. pag may makalimutan ako, argh.! mas mabuti pa ung kwento na lang nang kuwento.
i'll do my best to "story-tell" in a chronological order. para di masyadong nakakahilo. graveh.
i, i mean, we celebrated my birthday last december 22 in gateway. ate at burgoo. ah, busog ako nun, grabe/. and then nagpunta kami nang bayan, tapos there was this performance at marikina cityhood park, by the metro manila community orchestra. got to see MCF. she was just a few chairs away. what a nice birthday. not extravagant, but i loved it, since i was happy. (of course i'm supposed to be happy, do i?)
christmas was fine. so nice spirit. and of course, my since-grade4 tradition was there again - watching the animated a christmas carol. gosh, it's a very nice yuletide film. loved it, still.
ok, so tito lando, tita lorna, christian, patrick and matthew, including US (yay) went to Golden Sunset Resort in Calatagan, Batangas , last Dec. 26-28. uh-huh, this resort is owned by ricky reyes. actually it's new. saya. but i was chicken in the slides. kind of small actually. yellow slide = cool, which i tried and blue slide = bigger,cooler and faster one, which i DIDN'T try. tee-hee.
the outing turned out to be OK, with matthew being so naughty and makulit. (which lara and i love about him.) don't get me wrong, we had strong bonds with christian and patrick too. the things we did? swim, eat chips, watch tv, talk. swim,eat chips, watch tv, talk.
and so on and so forth. tuluy-tuloy lang un. or other things inserted. whatever.
and i forgot! kasama naman si tito larry, tita mel and lawrence, their son. tito larry is lara's ninong,btw.
oh, yeah, and patrick knew this guy named brandon, who has some kind of european blood, and he was wearing swimming trunks. matthew said : why is wando(he calls brandon wando) wearing panty?
oh, yeah, he's just a little kid anyway. with a GREEN mind.
before we went home we went to denise's house in tagaytay. (denise was my close classmate who's now in tagaytay, obviously.) what joy to see my former classmate!!!!!!!!!! btw, she is the niece of tito larry.
so we came home, finally. i did some schoolwork i had to do. anyway.
new year's eve came. grabe enjoy talaga nina christian, patrick at matthew. as in. and i enjoyed it as usual. nancy and reagan, our dogs, were let out of their cages. grabe nung sinturon ni hudas ung sinindihan nagwawala sila sa kulungan. nag-panic. we let them out immediately. kawawa talaga sila nun.
i hate saying goodbye to 2005! grabe, what a year. one of the most exciting, thrilling, and exasperating years. it was when i graduated, when big brother's voice echoed the philippines, when we went to bohol, and more things.
tito lando, tita lorna, christian, patrick and matthew left the country, sadly, on january 3rd.christian and patrick cried. (unbelievable? i thought so, too, until i saw real sadness, not only real tears, in their eyes.) i was so , "bye!!" but christian wouldn't talk. the next thing i knew, many of my relatives (dad's side) were saying goodbye, and christian wouldn't face us, coz he's crying. patrick was also "bye!" at first, pero u know, emotions talaga. then tears dropped on his cheeks na. matthew was kinda blank. i mean, he's just 3 years old. how do you suppose he could so understand? maybe he has some idea, but not really that complete yet. he's still a kid, you know. i am so missing them. all those games of chess, playing PS and everything. nakaka-miss. sobra. they'll go back, probably 3 years minimum. don't wanna wait that long. e huling punta nila 2003 when lola ines died(*sniff*). tapos hindi pa sila complete nun. sina tito lando at christian lang. but at least may remembrance. i can name a lot they left : skittles, candy canes, air heads, starburst, butterfinger, baby ruth, wonka bottle caps. saraaaaaappp.
tapos nun pasukan na. january 4. was totally okay, except for the following week, which was EXAMS week. it was from thursday-saturday.
III - st. hilda's christmas jingle is soooo awesome.! they got 99%. they so totally deserve it. applaud for st. anne, st. therese, st. catherine, and st. cecilia, anyhow!! great job, i mean jobS, fellow kulasas!!
wednesday night, jan 11th, we went to the tius, our kamag-anaks. (so obviously chinese talaga ang bloodline ko with my mom's side. my middle initial is chua, and our relatives' surname is tiu. tee-hee.) there were auntie inday, and the pretty ate alayne wilinsky all the way from new jersey. ate alayne, 19, is mama's second cousin. haha. so parang tita ko siya. and she's vegetarian. we went there kasi that was the eve of their leaving. ate alayne is a journalism student, by the way. (cool.) she knows how to speak french and some chinese. (so cool.)
grabe, ung exams. some were easy, some were difficult, and others were on the average level.well, at least for SS, the essay questions were KINDA easier. here goes :
1. do you believe in the saying "the pen is mightier than the sword"? then we were asked to relate our past lessons to prove our opinion. ( i got 9 over 10 here!)
2. what do you think is the greatest legacy of spain to our country? explain your answer.( i got 3 out of 5)
i so wanna change the subject. so far OK lang naman ang 4th quarter.......
which reminds me!! it seems like it was just june 2005, the first day of my freshwoman year, and i'm about to end it and become a sophomore!! so unbelievable! TIME FLIES FAST! and we've got proofs, do we?
any reader here who knows patricia evangelista? we are so proud of her. she won in May 2004 at the International Public Speaking competition conducted yearly by the English-Speaking Union. and she won first prize!!! her speech was about a borderless world and the filipino diaspora. many people say, that if you are a filipino, you must read her speech. it's entitled "blonde and blue eyes". i've read it actually. and grabe, my nationalism level rose. PROMIZ! she formally accepted her prize, i mean prizes, in november 04 at the buckingham palace (!!) from HRH prince philip duke of edinburgh.
nice, crafty gal. i love her weekly (every sunday) column in the phil. daily inquirer. but last sunday, jan 15th, no article of hers was in the OPINION page. which sucks. really.
narnia's awesome! been waiting for this flick for months. so nice, even adults magugustuhan to. edmund was really mestizo, peter was ordinary at first, but cute after a few speculations and minutes later, lucy is cute, young, and carefree, and susan was smart and kinda dramatic. hate the part nung namatay si aslan,king of narnia.(oops, sorry sa hindi pa nakakapanood.) but so love the part nung nabuhay si aslan,(pambawi naman sa hindi pa nakakapanood.) talk about true magic, ikanga. kasi naman true sacrifice ang ginawa ni aslan for edmund. astig talaga. isang leon, king of narnia. tilda swinton (who played jadis or the white witch) did a great job. bagay siyang kontrabida at mabait (xempre in the film plastic lang ung white witch sa pagiging mabait) at the same time. cool.
i'm waiting for the 2nd issue of Blue Heights!! i wanna get a touch of the paper. and i wanna know how people will react to the 2 feature articles i wrote.
i love the pen commandments by steven frank. he's a dad of two kids. and he's a writer, and a teacher. i bought his book in power books. sulit, grabe kahet P 500 plus ung presyo. matututo ka na sa grammar and writing, matatawa ka pa. nakakaaliw to.
ok, so obviously this post is the longest i've ever made so far. grabe. anyway.hope u didn't get tired of reading my somehow silly and somehow OK thoughts. whatever. basta. i hope i didn't forget anything.
