last saturday, tita tess, tito ramy, and ate amy arrived here at home. the next day, kuya raprap, his gf ate carina, and their son clarence arrived too.
what we did? during the first days of their short vacation here (they went home a while ago) we belt out songs on magic sing. hehe. we went to malls, watched DVDs, dressed up stars virtually on stardoll and just had fun.
thursday, april 27, we went to club manila east together with papa's buddies ninong rey and tito almer. raffy and ate rona went, too. we had so much fun, really.
on the way to club manila east, my mom pointed out the banner at RP screaming, "HALE: april 28, 5 pm." i wanted to watch though i'm not a hale fanatic. at CME i asked my mom if we could go. all she said was to have fun here, don't think of other things yet, finish your thing here, or something like that. i shook it off and reminded myself to ask again.
the next day (yesterday) rachelle went here in the house to hang out because she knew that ate amy & co. will be leaving. in the middle of laughs and playing PS my mom told me that she moved my orthodontist sked from 4:30 to 3:00 so that we can watch hale!
in RP, nakisiksik lang kami. we were some of the people who just squeezed behind railings! i still took pics and videos though it was exhausting; there were SO MANY people!
it was announced that there will be CD & poster signing and picture taking so we bought CDs! we even saw some of our batchmates. so there went sheldon, roll and omnie signing..then there was champ. he shook hands with me as he did to everyone and papa took a shot. we lined up again (together with the last batch) because we didn't have solo pics. why? ate amy and lara immediately went away. i guess they were kinda starstruck. we were able to take solo pics with champ anyway.they weren't snobs. oh and btw, champ held the back of each person who took a pic with him.(us included....!)
all i can say is...i'm starting to like hale in a higher degree now.. and of course, champ's really cute! :) hehe. but he's thinner in reality than on tv. swear.
PS. can't load our pics in CME and with champoy yet; computer's tooo slow today. maybe next time.

the days go by
ha! i've not updated for a long time. last week was holy week. of course, we watched procession again at sto. nino.
3 days ago, (tuesday), i, rachelle and my sis went to blue wave. (just the three of us.) we ate at kitaro(yum! the two practiced using chopsticks, but attempts were unsuccessful, so they just stared at turned-japanese-for-lunch me) with my parents, then they left us off. we shopped. (a little.) i just purchased purple dangling seashell-like earrings at the ground floor tiangge and 7-days purple (again!) ring from broadway gems. we should've gone to timezone instead, but my mom said it's either timezone or shopping (and not both). i should've bought a pair of cuuuute blue flat shoes from rusty lopez, but it didn't fit - was kinda big. but it's a snag savvy really- just for 300 pesos!
our real purpose was to watch the movie eight below. here's the synopsis straight from the official site : http://www.8belowmovie.com. check it out. i love the wallpaper my sis downloaded.

hooked

the honors' assembly a while ago was..ok. rosette is now rank 1 in the class, and hana went to number two. when we assembled near the stage, hana instantly noticed my short, er, shorter hair.
i sat down in a monoblock chair, just waited. before that, in the house, raffy and lara didn't even blink an eye open while i was getting ready. my mom was constantly shouting, "dalian mo, male-late ka na!". alam na alam ko yun...talaga lang ayokong umalis sa kama. i did not even fix my sheets.(i did so when i got home.) i did not even apply conditioner. (yikes.)
can you believe it? ginaganahan akong mag-type ngayon! whee!!!
hindi man lang nakaakyat ng stage sina rocella at marie. sabi ba naman daw ng lola ni marie, na siyang nakatanggap ng tawag ni miss, 8:30 raw. oh my god, kung nag-chika kami sa phone nasabi ko sana sa kanya. 2 ranks after her name was mentioned, she arrived. (sayang diba.) she even cried when she arrived, together with her bro, cousin, and gram(not the 8:30 gram.) sabi niya, kung kaya lang niya, baka raw namura na niya lola niya. si rocella naman, late na. as in. rank 2 pa naman siya! dumating siya announcement na sa 3rd year.
rachelle was supposed to go to deuzette's house together with her kada from i-st. maria goretti, but it was a last-minute asking of permission. tita rose didn't let her. so, their driver(her dad's a seaman) drove us to McDonald's. i was somehow hungry, but i just consumed half of my Sausage McMuffin. my tummy felt bloated. really. we did some chit-chat of course. so did our mothers, who seem to never get out of ideas to discuss. (laging kasama run ang pimples at pimple scars namin. but rachelle has more of those than mine.) then kyra, ate aleli, and other family members arrived. we said hi, then rachelle and kyra talked a while about some things. a few minutes later, we left. the driver took us home.
at home i found raffy starting to wake up, lara still asleep, and my dad reading the newspaper.
after lunch, we watched dr. dolittle 3. the main star there is not eddie murphy/dr. dolittle, but her daughter, maya dolittle, played by kyla pratt. nice movie, that one. maya has difficulty trying to fit in because she's regarded as a "freak" since she's a dolittle. her mom sends her to durango ranch to wind and have a "fresh start". she gives A LOT of help in order not the durango ranch to be sold. (long story.)

starting to feel like a retard?!
surprisingly, i woke up before 10:00. nyaha! himala ata to. na-jerk siguro lahat ng reflexes at glands at whatever sa katawan ko nang nilambing ako ng nanay ko kaninang umaga at sinabi saking, "surprise! tumawag saken si mrs. armada, kasali ka pa raw sa honor roll." kaya ako nagising nang ganun kaaga. sinubukan kong bumalik sa tulog, pero mukhang itinadhana na ang oras ng paggising ko kanina.

and to think na gigising nang maaga sa april 10! nakakapeste gumising ng 6:30 kasi dapat before 8:00 nasa skul na. lalo na pag summer. e hindi naman outing ang sadya para ganahan akong gumising nang ganun kaaga.
ok, masaya talagang pumunta sa 10 dahil makikita ko ang mga pinakamamahal kong mga klasmeyt. ooh, i-st. clare! pati batchmates at skulmates! wow. pero.....ayoko talaga yung waking-up part. trust me, i suck at that. i'm such a night person. bigyan sana ako ng Diyos ng energy at good mind setting para makagising ng maaga.
kagabi, i was staring at the SEP brochure. summer enrichment program at ateneo.
eto rason bakit ko gustong umattend:
- i could enhance my skills (i was on the village of corny-ville)
- i could have more friends
- boring no more! ang last month of summer ko.
eto naman bakit ayoko:
- may 2-29, may 2 skeds, both with session length of 1 hour and a half. okay, maikli lang, pero God! mondays to fridays- at isang buwan. .
- for one month marami akong magagawa - me time, bonding, blogging, bloghopping, mga likes ko. e pag may summer class parang..may dapat gawin. basta!
- homework!
hindi ko alam. na-eexcite na tinatamad. ano ba! one more prob : hindi ko alam ang pipiliin- math, science or english. yung english maraming sakop.

(1 week passed na pala simula nang napanood namin yun sa blue wave.) love na love nga rin yun ng mga friends kong sina hana at marie na sa blue wave din nila napanood nung last week wednesday and thursday respectively.
can't wait for the movies : aquamarine and eight below.

on first love, mall tour,grades, etc.
grabe! langhiya, huli kong update nung april 1. so, ngayon ko lang makukuwento..
i invited rachelle to go with me, my sis and my dad (my mom has something to do at that time ) at RP to watch Kitchie Nadal's mall tour last april 2, sunday. A few days before that, I saw a streamer outside RP that said Kitchie Nadal would be there at april 2, 4 pm.
of course, i so didn't expect kitchie to arrive exactly. we've had an experience last march 2004, when Side A had a mall tour in RP, too. i think they were almost an hour late. but, it was so worth it. astig, grabe. lots of people were peering from bars in the higher levels, lalo na nung kinanta nila yung walang kamatayang forevermore. the best parts? we were seated on the front chairs, we were able to have our just-bought-there-in-order-to-be-at-the-front side a cd signed by all the members, and have pictures taken. talk about being starstruck, the rockin' way.
so last april 2, we waited...
and waited..
and waited....
(in the middle of waiting, we saw ate rona and raffy! they sat with us.)
finally! after 2 hours of complaining, mumbling, chatting, and munching on yummy ribbon fries, kitchie nadal finally arrived. but she went to the stage still after around 15 minutes.
though she did just about 7 songs, it was pretty ok. she looked very pretty in her makeup(of course, along with her natural beauty). and her blinding necklace was a scene-stealer, thought of course nothing beats the moment she came near the mic and sang.
she politely said to the audience that they almost failed to come because she was sick. (it wasn't obvious that she was sick. she had this rocker vibe she always has.)

kanina nanood kami ng little manhattan. about first love. (i noticed that gabe is josh hutcherson, who was walter in zathura.) they're just around 11 years old. my mom asked me, "if you were rosemary, would you also let the guy kiss you?" i uttered a "uh..um..,no." i should've explained to her that rosemary didn't let gabe kiss her(but i didn't bother). in fact, she was in the middle of talking to gabe when he couldn't take it anymore and gave her a smooch. :)
hindi nga lang naman natapos. sayang, last 2 scenes na, nasira pa. hay. iba talaga pag pirata binibili.
i don't know how to feel on april 10. or rather, about april 10. the dreaded day every quarter most students curse: issuance of cards. i've swallowed the fact that i'm not in the honor circle this last quarter.(bawi next year, bawi!) the thing i dread about is seeing that sheet of paper, filled with numbers. i so don't wanna look at the number beside the letters THE. :((
the thing that's somehow comforting me is the scenario i picture in my mind : my mom arriving at the door, me in my PJs seeing her cradling the last Blue Heights issue in her arms beside my @^*stinky@^* report card. like what future BH EIC ragene said as a reply to my comment on her blog, "i just don't want all the efforts and grade-sacrifices to go to waste." hay. well said, ragene.
my sis and i slept last night in our parents' room (old times!) because lola inday, her sis lola rosie, tita tess, tito ramy, and kuya rigel came by here all the way from masbate. i miss their going here. i mean, my kuyas and ate amy. tita tess and tito ramy just went by last month, i think.
nuff said for the three topics i planned in the title.

i went to tita edise yesterday for my braces clean-up sked. they said they won't be able to watch moments of love, so they pleaded that i tell the story. so i did tell the synopsis. or maybe, the synopsis, plus the lotsa details i'm dying to storytell. hehe. :D she said that just 2 more skeds, and she can remove my braces na! yay!

it's april fools' day!
oh, my god. NO WAY. have you heard? this is bad news:
